This impressive and extensive edition reflects in a fine manner the expanse of your organization’s activities, whose name precedes it almost two hundred years as one of the most veteran and important Jewish organizations in the world.

Your professional and significant activity embraces the ends of the earth, from Poland to Cyprus and from Jerusalem to New York, and places repeatedly at the center the all-Jewish world-wide relationship and the indispensable affiliation between the People living in Zion and Diaspora Jewry. The Jewish Rescuers Citation and Award for Journalism Recognizing Excellence in Diaspora Reportage are just examples of your influential and welcome activities, in various fields that are of interest to the Jewish public wherever they are.

Since the massacre of October 7 and the ensuing war, in the face of the dramatic spike in incitement and extreme antisemitism around the world, it is clear that your activity on behalf of the Jewish people everywhere takes on ever greater significance and urgency, and your clear voice takes on even greater importance, and for this you should be commended.

I wish to strengthen your resolve to take action, also in the name of the President of the State.
